Announcing an Official Python Client

Published February 24, 2020

Yesterday, we announced an offical Node.js client for the Sight API. That was a short blog post. For Node.js developers all around the world, we reduced the friction of doing state-of-the-art text recogntion to merely specifying an API key and calling a function.

Today, we make a similar announcement. Enter the official Python client:

    import sight_api

    client = sight_api.Client('xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx')

    pages = client.recognize(['invoice.pdf', 'receipt_1.png'])

The client is open-sourced under the Apache Version 2.0 license. You can checkout the source code at its GitHub page or take a look at the PyPI package.

This is yet another short blog post. We hope your integration with the Sight API is just as short.
